  9. Installation
  10. ============
  11. To avoid installation problems, NO program (including TSRs)
  12. should be running or begin running when you start Windows to
  13. run the install.
  14.  
  15. If you receive a message like:
  16.  
  17.   "THREED.VBX in use - Can not copy!"
  18.  
  19.   run StatTrak for Baseball. If you receive an "out of date"
  20.   message, see how to resolve it below. Otherwise, enjoy.

  22. Problems running StatTrak for Baseball
  23. ======================================
  24. If you receive a StatTrak for Baseball program message like:
  25.  
  26.   "The file 'c:\windows\system\threed.vbx' is out of date.
  27.    This program requires a newer version."
  28.  
  29.   we suggest you do and note the following:
  30.  
  31.     - exit Windows and return to DOS
  32.  
  33.     - go to the Windows System Directory
  34.  
  35.         CD C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM  (for example)
  36.  
  37.    - in the case of THREED.VBX, there should be the files
  38.  
  39.         THREED.VBX (old version of file)
  40.         THREED.~BX (newer version of file copied by the
  41.                     installation program.  Newer version of
  42.                     whatever file will have the "~" in the
  43.                     file extension)
  44.  
  45.    - rename the older version of the file THREED.BAK
  46.  
  47.         REN THREED.VBX THREED.BAK  (for example)
  48.  
  49.    - rename the newer version of the file THREED.VBX
  50.  
  51.         REN THREED.~BX THREED.VBX  (for example)
  52.  
  53.    - start Windows and run the installation program again
